The Victor Hasselblad Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Centre, established in 1978, is Sri Lanka’s oldest turtle conservation project. It focuses on the protection and rehabilitation of endangered sea turtles. Visitors can learn about all seven species, observe hatchlings, and support conservation efforts. The centre offers guided tours and educational experiences suitable for all ages.

This experience is available to guests staying at Rock Villa, The Muse, and Leela Walawwa. The centre is situated approximately 10 kilometres from Rock Villa and The Muse, and 6 kilometres from Leela Walauwwa.
